July 13, 2013 - Hey guys. In this webisode, Joe gets a baby grand piano delivered to the house. It was a gift from my parents in Connecticut. My father hired Piano Tony and his wife, Mrs. Piano Tony, to crate the 1951 Baldwin Model M and drive it to Boston. Deathwish, Boston area piano moving gurus, came over to bring it inside. Deathwish is famous for tough hauls, like moving antique instruments from high floors, through narrow ways and tight exits. Have you seen the North End? Normal people can't even park a car in that neighborhood. Deathwish parks a crane and moves pianos in and out of old brownstones. We signed up for a permit so that Deathwish could park their giant crane on the street. The guys craned the crated piano up over the house and into our 2nd floor porch, over the porch railing and through the kitchen to the living room. Neighbors came out to watch. It was a happening in Allston Rock City.
